The body responsible for monitoring the movement of cattle has been criticised by the Welsh language commissioner, Meri Huws.
Meri Huws said 92.5% of calls to the Welsh language line of the British Cattle Movement Service between September and February were not dealt with in the language, the Welsh cows PREFER.
In November, two calls were dealt with in Welsh out of a total of 124 Welsh language calls (92.5%), whilst numbers of callers preferring English language, circa 3,000 calls in the same period were addressed correctly in the language of caller / cattle preference.
The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) which oversees BCMS, said it took its Welsh language obligations seriously.
Ms Huws concluded the agency had breached its own Welsh language policy and recommended the agency provides her office with monthly statistics for a year to monitor the situation.
The RPA has allegedly said it would consider the recommendations in the report so it could “continue to support the Welsh-speaking cattle” in the best way possible!
The above is largely an extract from the BBC Wales News report (6th October 2016) with some added satire to bring reality to the never ending demands for ‘more Welsh language’ and more ‘essential’ Welsh speaking jobsworths in public jobs.
Essential Welsh Language requirement is becoming an unsustainable liability to the Welsh economy and long overdue to say, to the Welsh Language Police and to the Welsh Labour Government, Enough is Enough!
Couple of weeks ago, UK Government’s planning officials (Bristol based), have been forced to apologise to Welsh nationalists including some local politicians after a public meeting was held on Anglesey without a Welsh translator present!
The Planning Inspectorate held a public meeting in Anglesey’s capital (Llangefni), to offer more information on how the planning process works on major infrastructure developments, specifically the Wylfa B nuclear power station, but anything they had to say simply ‘fell on the deaf ears’ of few nationalists present who walked out in protest, whilst most people stayed and presumably were happy with the presentation format.
These who walked out were the people who have no respect for anyone outside of their narrow ‘Gog speaking circles’ and are determined to impose their will and their tribal language by any means on the Welsh majority including any outsiders who dare ignore the Orwellian privileges granted to them by the Welsh Labour Government.
Instead of standing their ground and stating the obvious that in Wales like in any other part of the UK everyone speaks English, the planning officials chose to grovel in the same way as the Horizon’s CEO Duncan Hawthorne did a while back in a similar context (See Breaking News: ‘Nuclear boss nuked’) – A new meeting is now in the process of being arranged – Cost and time issues not relevant, when the tax payers’ money is involved?
Most of us know or have heard of Teresa’s Chinese puzzle regarding the proposed Hinkley Point C nuclear power station (Government’s concern on security and cost grounds) but few of us are aware of the Welsh Government’s TAN 20 planning legislation that can derail the Horizon project of building a new nuclear plant on Anglesey.
The future of UK’s energy supply is now at risk and not just from the secretive Chinese and their ambitions for world domination but also from a bunch of looneys still living in the XIII century world, demanding Exceptionalism and Privileges on the grounds that they speak Cymraeg (Welsh).
These people have managed to infiltrate every level of Welsh society in the post-devolution period and now control the Welsh Labour Government, most quangos, BBC Wales, other Welsh media and have endless pressure groups, all there for a simple purpose of making them ‘More Equal’.
In Wales, the social inclusion and democracy is well on the way to being eradicated but interfering with a project of a huge national significance may just be a step too far?
YouTube is an invaluable source of historical video material easily accessible to the public, covering a wide range of topics and like many people, I often use it for research on a variety of subjects.
When I wrote the Glasnost essay: ‘Light a Fire for Wales’, I came across a fascinating TV clip from the 1970’s of two highly respected Welsh intellectuals (Vincent Kane of BBC and Gwyn Thomas), discussing the merits and relevance of the Welsh language.
This was an unusually frank exchange of views that sadly no longer exists in the Welsh media and I cross-referenced the debate in my article using an active click on link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5O2tq8ouqI
Not long afterwards the YouTube link stopped working and the ‘sad face’ appeared each time anyone tried to access the video!
A YouTube statement puts it down to the multiple complaints of copyright infringement which is simple enough to understand, but why would anyone object to the airing of a significant part of the Welsh history?
It appears that Gwyn Thomas’s powerful words and the message directly aimed at the Welsh speaking nationalists had to be erased from the public domain – an inconvenient truth to the New Welsh Order that Welsh Nationalists are planning for us all.
One doesn’t need ‘mega brains’ to figure out that the BBC Wales English language services are under the control of Welsh speaking nationalists and this has been the case for many years now.
Its current Director Rhodri Talfan Davies was appointed back in 2011 through family inheritance as his father had the job before him and before that Rhodri’s father got the job from his father!
The Talfan Davies family dynasty has an absolute and the total grip of BBC’s editorial policy with an agenda to promote and impose the Welsh language upon the Welsh majority that closely mirrors the aims and intent of the Welsh Labour’s Governance under its Welsh speaking First Ministers (Carwyn Jones currently and Rhodri Morgan before him).
The broader issues raised above including the shameless Welsh language propaganda by the BBC’s Welsh speaking broadcasters on the English language programmes (Huw Edwards and many others) will be dealt with at some other time but for now the principal aim of this article is to highlight the plight of ordinary people who dare to challenge the almighty BBC CYMRU Wales.
There are not many opportunities available to Welsh people to ‘debate’ the Welsh politics via BBC Wales and in most cases the ‘freedom’ to do so is closely monitored by the invisible and unaccountable ‘moderators’ who operate upon the so-called ‘reactively-moderated’ criteria that must obey the BBC’s house rules’.
